Hi there;

I own an UltraX remote, and was using the plugin developed by Roy Solverg.

But unfortunately it only works with mediaportal 1.1 and not with the new version 1.2..., so I basically have no remote right now.

Since Roy is not answering my emails asking for a new version of the plugin..., Is there any way to control mediaportal with the UltraX remote without any plugins?.

Thank you in advance.

    You can try IRSS which is in the plugin section, not sure if it will work but its worth a shot.

    EventGhost also haso a built in plugin for that remote.

    I don't know anything about IRSS at all...

    By the way I was using eventghost with the UltraX plugin, but, if I don't have the plugin for mediaportal it doesn't work or I don't know how to set it up. If I use eventghost, which remote model should I use in mediaportal?.

    Thank you.

    Try this one, I just made it compatible for 1.2.1. Can't do much more.

    Hey deda, if it works like the old one, I'm OK with that! :)

    P.S.: You could go to the original thread and share it there, I'm pretty sure there are many others with the same problem.

    Mmmm, it doesn't work right out the box (just overwritting the old one), so I guess I need to do something more, but I hadn't any spare time this weekend to do it, I hope in the next couple of days, may be.
