HP Pavilion Laptop Remote Control (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I have this remote control that came with my Vista laptop:

I installed XP instead of Vista and installed MediaPortal also. When I set the generic HUI remote in the settings, most of the buttons work except for the "INFO" and "BACK" (I want the "BACK" button to get back to previous menu but it acts as "HOME" button. The "INFO" does not do anything). Changing the settings to "MCE Remote" or trying to change defaults of buttons did not solve this also. Any suggestions? Will the Girder software might help me?

This remote uses stand IR port to receive its signals. I believe with MP you can configure the IR input with one of the plugins to do what you want.
