I noticed that after installing TV Server the "Standby" key on my HP desktop PC not longer works and puts the PC in standby. As soon as I stop the TV Server service the PC immediately goes into Standby. Looks like TV Server has taken over control of the standby function. Are there any options to allow both keyboard standby control and TV Server control?

Post your logs , ensure that you have tried the standby key during the running of the TVServer.

Do you have the Powerschedular plugin runnng in the TVserver TVSetup, what are the exceptions set to stop standby/heibernate.

    I also have this problem.

The problem is tvserver prevents stand-by while it's working, so you have to stop tv and be sure tvserver is not grabbing epg guide before you can standby the pc.

This is to assure normal resume from standby of tvcards I suppose....

I have exactly the same problem as the two guys above describe. Please let me know how I can help to track down this problem. It is (to me) sever as I am using Mediaportal in my livingroom as TV replacement. My wife likes to "switch on/off" the TV and it should respond quickly to this, so shutting down / rebooting every time is definitely not the way to go... Therefore I desperately need standby[S3] working :-/
