ok.. so i finally fixed my deinterlacing problem...

Disabled aero (i changed the theme to windows classic as i don't see the desktop anyway with fullscreen MP)
After this, Motion Adaptive deinterlacing becomes available in CCC, unchecked Auto and set it...
and bang... no more combing/jaggies :p

after all this time ... so so simple.. *snif*

I tried running AC3FILTER while in media portal. When I open AC3FILTER it says it is in "OFFLINE" mode and will not display real time information. How do I get it to display info?

EDIT: To get it into online mode I had to check "show tray icon"

However, the tray icon only shows up when playing back a file that previously had DD/DTS working. For my x264/h264 files the AC3FILTER icon does not show. Haali Meedia Splitter does open for x264/h264.

EDIT2: I messed with some decoder settings in Media Portal config. I changed the "Audio decoder" from AC3FILTER to MPA. This didn't change anything, weird.

I just want my surround sound!
Hmm, how do you output your sound?
    S/PDIF or Analog?

Did VSINC work for you in EVR mode? I enabled it in Catalyst, but i have very bad image quality (glitches) :(

Now i found, that HDMI connection does not work for me - no idea why. Catalyst did not detect any monitor :(

Connection between my Tvix 6500 and TV work perfect, so problem must be in HTPC. I am using ASUS M3A78-EMH HDMI board.

I am give up set up my HTPC, and get back to use Tvix...

try searching your bios... if the board has DVI, then you have to change jumpers near it for HDMI... don't worry... there is a solution ;)
