Hahaa,
Yes I said goodbye to my 2.1 BOSE setup and looked for something similar in size, as good or better in terms of sound quality, and more upgradable. I went for Monitor Audio Radius HD45 satellites and HD360 subwoofer. And so far so good.
Still a bit lost with all the possible audio settings in MP, but using AC3 filter I get a DTS stream via Toslink to my AV receiver when watching movies, and stereo sound when watching TV, so I guess it's set up as it should.
