Well none of that worked as she still froze - so happy days it's not mediaportal so installed it again. I was talking to a mate and he said try re-seating the cpu. Ok, what have I got to lose! Well, touch wood, it's been nearly 9 days with no freezes, which is the longest it's ever gone! Woo frickin Hoo!! And, something else that's improved. I obviously have my media folders shared, and pc to pc there's never been any issues. But after about a day my phone and tablet would not be able to connect to the folders. If I rebooted it would seem to be ok for a while. I could access them through ampdroid, but not esfileexplorer. Well, now it's been 9 days and there have been no issues with my tablet or phone either. Buggers me, but all smiles so far.
