HTPC Tuner Cards (1 Viewer)

I've searched the forums for a couple of days for information about what type of card to get. I've gotten some information but not enough for me to go and buy one. I have a simple question. If anyone here is from the US and uses Digital HD Cable, what kind of card are you using? Be specific please (e.g. Hauppage WinTV)

I want to compile a list of what is known to work for Media Portal then buy the best one.

Also I notice while shopping about that the cards seem to only pick up about 128 channels, while my cable channels go well into the 300s will I have to use a settop box and an IR blaster?

I use two cards: a Hauppage WinTV-PVR-500 MCE and a Hauppage WinTV-PVR-150 running under WinXP PRO. Both work well and are easy on the system resources.
