Have just installed 1.1.0 alpha and whenever I go to play music for the first time since the machine has booted there is a considerable delay and the machine appears to freeze. The delay is about 45 seconds after selecting an MP3. This only occurs when the PC has first booted. I do not launch mediaportal automatically when windows launches, so I am sure that everything has loaded before mediaportal starts

For me to reproduce, the steps are:

1. Restart media PC
2. When back up, start mediaportal
3. Select music
4. Click any song... will have to wait 40-45 seconds before it begins to play.

Could be doing a lookup on the song or something? But surely that would be in a different thread ya not blocking the current process.

After any song has played, it acts normally as it did before.

Wiered

Go to MP Configuration, Music, Music Database, and then update your database.
Doing that once off should solve the problem.
