Synopsis::
First of all, compliments to all the mediaportal team for this great program.
I've started to use it from version 0.2 RC1 and I appreciated very much how
it grew in stability, usability and new functions.
I wanted to give my little contribution to making it always better
so I wanted two report two minor bugs I discovered.
I had those bugs in RC1, now I made a clean install of mediaportal and the bugs are still there.
My system has two cards, a Hauppauge HVR 1300 tv card and a Technisat SS2 satellite card.
SS2 is ok, HVR1300 has configuration problems. HVR1300 is a hybrid tv card
so I can add it twice in configuration, one time as digital and one time as analog.
First problem: I add the card as digital, close the setup, open the setup again and try to edit the card.
I receive the error "No vdeo capture card(s) were found, you won't be able to configure a capture card".
The only way to edit the card settings is to remove the card and add it again.
This is annoyng because I have to map again the channels to the card.
Second problem: I add the card as analog,
The problem is when I autotune the channels.
I already have in MP channels from satellite SS2 card and HVR Digital.
When I autotune tha analog, many analog channels are mapped over
the digital channels and the satellite channels even if the channels are not the same.
The only way I found to workaround this problem was an autotune of the analog card starting with empy channel database,
make a copy of this database, make an autotune of the digital and the satellite channels starting with empty channel database,
make a copy of this database and a manual merge of the two databases with SQLite3 manager.
This is a lot of work, so
does anyone have the same or similar problems?
