I have been happily using the DVB-T half of my card for sometime now.
But now I want to use the S-Video input and am having no success.

I have added the analogue half of the card as a new capture card and can receive terrestrial analogue channels, but I cannot get the s-video input to work.

In MP TV Channels setup I have added an SVHS channel set to PAL-I UK. Under the external tab I have this set to SVHS input.

In Capture card setup for the analogue card I have SVHS#1 and Audioin #1 mapped to SVHS.

If I try selecting the channel in MyTV either I get nothing or Media portal crashes.

Can anyone help please.

Have you assigned the SVHS analogue channel to the analogue card?

Also ensure EPG grabbing is off and no DVB channel is recording.

I had the grab EPG from DVB box ticked in the programme guide settings. Unset that and a picture now appears. Thanks. When setting up the s-video I never looked at the programme guide setup as it does not have one so I did not notice the warning.

Now my next problem, the aspect ratio seems to be stretched. My source is outputting 16:9, but after I have recorded it every thing is too tall. I shall have to fiddle a bit more.

    cheers
