Synopsis::

I cannot view video when waching Live TV. All other features are working perfectly. If there is something that I am forgetting to tell you about in order to resolve this problem, please let me know.

***I am not sure if I can hear anything because I do not have speakers right now***

I am also not sure which sound and video decoders to use. I have tried all the video decoders but none have worked. When I view the TV, I see small pictures of the live televisoin channel, and then about 10 seconds later I see another picture. It is not working properly.

I am new to MediaPortal and would apreciate anyones help.

Thanks

    If it was just video not working, I might be pointing to the DX7 video card. Since its both, do you get error messages and do you have software mpeg2 encoders installed?

    Sorry, I am not sure if I can hear or not hear sound. I forgot I do not have speakers right now. lol.

    I do have DScaler MPEG2 Video Decoder installed. I also do not see any error messages.

    I am also not sure which sound and video decoders to use. I have tried all the video decoders but none have worked.

    Also, when I view the TV, I see small pictures of the live televisoin channel, and then about 10 seconds later I see another picture. It is not working properly.

    If it is that your video card does not support VMR9, then there isnt any codec change that it will make it work.

    If you can try another video card, I would suggest that, as Im pretty sure thats going to be the problem. Because your not getting error messages, I assume your tv card is actually working, though if you could get your sound working (to confirm its the video) would be good.
