I cannot configure MediaPortal with my Sony PCV-RZ22G (1 Viewer)

I cannot configure MediaPortal with my Sony PCV-RZ22G. This computer was one of the first to come with a Tv tuner already installed. The Giga Pocket programs has not been working succesfully and I fell upon this Program "mediaPortal" and the portal cannot find my tv card. I also searched my properties and cannot get a name of my card. I have searched other forums and a guy had opened it up and saw the card was called ENX-15. If anyone could help that would be great.

Unless things have changed, I am pretty sure that the gigapocket cards are not supported by Media Portal. You can try adding it by following these directions http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/Add_TVCard_to_natively_supported_list

Yes I have been reading forums and the WME also are the same, they do not support the card. Someones needs to make something here@@@ thanks again and if you hear anything new, keep me updated

I actually tried adding the card today, but unfortunately the very first step does not seem to be an option for me.

Open GraphEdit and add the Microsoft DVBT (or DVBS / DVBC) Network Provider under Insert Filters and BDA Network Providers.

What about meedio

I stumbled across medio, and they also do not have the hardware for my Tv Tuner card, I tried Sage TV and they only allowed me channels 3-12 though that may because it was a trial edition. Are you familiar with any of these in regards to my problem?

Sorry, Sage TV does not work with my Sony so I can't really comment on it. I suppose at some point I will pick up a capture card to use with Media Portal, but not sure if I really want to use my PC as my cable box.

You guys might wanna contact DMAN, he might be able to help you.

Also you might be lucky with the next MP release (0.3.0.0). It will contain a new TV engine that can autodetect almost every card in the future on its own.
