1. how do i play movies in myfilms plugin? what do i need to download for it?

2. how do i use myfilms for grouping movies and single movies all at once?

for example:

i have harry potter ( 8 movies) boxset,, star wars boxset and star trek boxset. i am using mymovies 4.02 to import xml into myfilms.

it is like this in my drive:

harrypotter\hp1
harrypotter\hp2
harrypotter\hp3....

samething as star wars and star trek.

please help

I think I don't understand your question - MyFilms uses Mediaportal's player (V6.0 also externalnal player) to play the movie, that you have in your catalog.
Precondition is, that the mediapath is in your catalog. This happens automatically, if you import your local movies with AMCupdater.
There will be some improvements in upconing V6 - see here
If you have "offline media", like DVDs in a shelve, see FAQ here and about organizing your files here.

Edit: After reading you're using MyMovies: It is possible, that 4.x version did change format - with tested V3.1.8, MyFilms did import the correct data for playback, so you could use it directly.

Ahhh - there is an important information - that you're using mymovies. Latest supported/tested version is V3.1.8.
SO forget about the above - as you're using External Catalog, all depends on what that catalog does for you and exports to MyFilms.
So if you want collection support, please check, if that is information, that is exported by MyMovies - if yes, it is posssible to add that to the import filter of MyFilms (currently, it is not).
