I know about the Hauppauge Tweak Tool, but it can not do what I was referring to.

I'll probably buy a new HTPC soon(?) w/HDMI, so I wont waste any money on a DVI-HDMI cable (they are expensive, and last I got did not work).

I believe you are right about the motion blur - but I do not believe that it will fix the DXVA issue. After hours of reading there seem to be problems with WMR9 and DXVA when using PureVideo.

but one thing that never gets good is the quality when there is are "fast moving objects" like football (!!!).

You need to do 50Hz if you wanna watch football broadcasted in PAL, icehockey is even worse if you try 60Hz.

That's what I'm saying too, it's a HUGE defference to watch sports (or anything else) in 50hz.

OK - I made 50 Hz, and there is improvement in PQ.

But:
- HW-acc./DXVA still does not work. Only when "film" is selected in PutrVideo (=non de-interlacing)
- Only getting 24 - 24.5 FPS --> Jitter!
- Soccer still looks blurry
