IFO/VOB files won't play (1 Viewer)

Hi all, I'm trying to play some IFO/VOB straight DVD rips I've made but they won't play in MediaPortal or any other app. I'm currently using the Moving Pictures plugin as a frontend for watching all my films and I've installed the SAF v3.47 filter pack provided by this forum (although I've also tried with CCCP and haven't had any luck). Basically, trying to play the IFO file results in nothing. I've ripped the files using DVD Decrypter (don't use ISOs as I don't want to use up too much space). Anything I could be missing, like some sort of registry entry or something?

You must copy whole directories structure fom DVD, include "AUDIO_TS" and "VIDEO_TS" folders. Then if you open such folder from MP, MP will autostart DVD mode.

But the IFO file plays perfectly through Media Player Classic. All I want are the IFO/VOB, I don't want all the excess and fluff. You know, just the episodes for TV series. For some reason whenever I click to play them in MediaPortal, the program just locks up. No combination of codecs seems to work.

Bump. Still no solution to this problem? If I try to play the IFO and I have a DVD in the drive, for some reason it just plays whatever DVD it happens to be. Why is something that should be simple so needlessly complex? Here is the log of what it tries to do before locking up.
