hi guys, ive downloaded mediaportal, and its working awesome, and help from these forums helped me with the skins i needed !

just needed some help on folders ! is there anyway i can select two folders for my videos ! it gives you option to add folders, but you can only select one, is there a way i can have two so i can select which one i want to use, while im using the actual media portal programme ! and the two folders are from different hard drives on my pc !

The selection in the configuration is optional. It will indicate the default folder. You can then still navigate up (..) to see the rest. Alternatively, none of the folders should be ticked in the configuration. Then you will by default see all.

Just to add to rekenaar's post .......you could also use the 'switch view' and have your videos sorted by genre,title, year, etc....... using this method would give you the 'illusion' that you only have one 'folder' for movies but it can span multiple drives and directory's that you setup in the mp config.
