Hi,
have a well functioning HTPC execpt this one problem that frequently reappears. I dont know if it is MediaPortal or Asus Xonar that is the culprit, so if anyone have experienced the same issues please help.
All drivers etc are up to date. The HDMI-connection is MoBo-->Asus Xonar-->TV
My symptoms are
1. The image disappears completely, ie the TV acts as if it does not get any signal at all
2. The image "break", ie half the image is fine but the other half is black and/or teared and smeared
3. The image freezes shortly and the sound stalls, maybe for 2-3 seconds
1 occurs when I close MediaPortal. 2 can occur at both startup and when I close MediaPortal.
Strange thing is that if I connect the TV directly from the MoBO (completely bypassing the Asus Xonar), the image is perfect.
Is this a hardware error in Asus Xonar or?
