Can anyone please help?

I have just reinstalled the latest version of MediaPortal, along with the xFace skin:

1) Having a few hundred movies, is there any way to 'batch' grab the IMDB info?
2) When I've tried grabbing the info movie by movie, the progress bar tells me that MediaPortal is grabbing the Cover Art from IMDB, Amazon etc. When it goes to the IMDB info page, it tells me that there are, for example, 9 images, but when I click through them, there are no images there. Everything else is included (rating, synopsis, cast etc) but no visible cover art (even though it tells me that it has captured 9 images)

Is there something that I'm doing wrong?
Might it be a problem with the xFace skin?
Is there a plug-in that deals with movies in a better way?

Any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated!

:D

    Hello ThaiMantra,

have you tried to scan your movie-folder in MediaPortal configuration or inside MediaPortal itself ?

No, I think that I set it up to do this in MediaPortal config, but it failed to do it - how is it done?

By the way, I would be very interested to see a full list of your 'How To' guides :D

This is the right way. So, DID you manage to scan your movie folder(s) and add everything to the database, just coverart is missing ? If so, you have to do it manually... at least I don't know another way (You just have to do this once and backup your thumbnails afterwards).
For this just select a movie of your list in the movie database -> editor, click on "coverart" and then click on "download".
You also can do it even more manually  by downloading the coverarts from a place like IMP, edit them and then select these images by clicking on "browse" instead of "download" like I mentioned before. I did it this way because the image quality of IMDB sucks ;)

The signature just has space for 1000 characters :) But I help where I can in this forum so if you have specific questions just ask.
