imdb lookup (1 Viewer)

I have noticed that imdb lookups do not always work properly.

It seems that the primary result is not always shown.

As an example, type into imdb "Ghost" and the first result (popular titles) is Ghost (1990), but when the same lookup is done from mediaportal (or from within configuration/movie/database) it never comes up with this option it only shows the titles that are appear under 'other results'.

This has been the case for some time, I am running the latest svn (as of 15th July).

Anyone have a solution for this?

Comparing the results again to imdb itself and it seem that when you type a movie title into imdb and it come up with the movie page directly, mediaportal gets this correct, but if imdb returns a list of movies mediaportal only shows movies listed under the heading "Titles (exact matches)" when usually the primary selection is only available under the section "Popular Titles"

going to the imdb web page and checking movies such as "Man on Fire" and "Mona Lisa" show that this seems to be the case.

Is there a fix for this?

I'm running 0.2.3.0-RC1 + SVN 07-14-2007 and I've noticed this as well. Hopefully, someone has a solution??

From now should work: first appear the popular popular titles, but the first link may not bee the searched movie

I have another question regarding imdb lookup.

Most of my movies are DVD image files like .img or .iso.
When I search imdb, MP mounts the image file and searches for the DVD title. Is there some option to change so that MP searches for the filename of the image file instead of mounting the the DVD and searching for the title?

The problem is that the DVD title mostly are some cryptic short name which in 90% of the cases results in no hits and forcing me to do a manual search (and I have to get the keyboard from a drawer).

In my case the filename of the image file is the correct movie title and is the best to search for.

At first I thought that if I added .img and .iso to known movie extensions it would handle the file as a movie file and not mount it prior to searching.
