Great so I'm not the only one losing there mind.

I can still find titles, but Genres have gone out of the window.

Instead of just seeing action, horror etc.

Now I see Canada:pG-12, Canada:R, Brazil:Banned ETC

Awful!

I'm sure it'll get fixed, but argh

Seems its been fixed, cant tell ya how much this feature is vital to me.

I dont think its up yet but according to post it should be up later today,,,,

First: I have updated the IMDB grabber today, to match the new IMDB site layout. Download the next SVN build (probably tomorrow) to fix this issue.

Second: I do believe this has already been fixed from a previous SVN

Third: Don't know what has happened there. Try a SVN version and if the problem remains, please post your logfiles.

Thank for the update, but it still seems to a problem (just tried latest svn).
For example search for 'A Clockwork Orange '.. no imdb found.

Ah, OK. The problem is when there is a perfect match. Try "clockwork" instead. You will get a list of movies and when you select "a clockwork orange" it should be imported correctly.

I will fix the bug today and it will be in SVN tomorrow, but making the search less exact is a workaround until then...

Okay, found the bug and fixed it. Thank you for the quick bug-reporting!

I will initiate a new public SVN build immediately, so we minimize the spread of the previous buggy version. A new downloadable SVN should be available in a matter of minutes. I would appreciate it if you could test the new version as well.

I just decided to setup my Film dir with IMDB yesterday, and found my first scan to be not much fun.

Today it is scanning a lot better, so many thanks for that.

But it was still crushing to find that after scanning 250 films, I accidentally clicked 'close' in the 'IMDB Movie Conflicts' and lost the list of films that had not been updated yet. No problem I thought, I'll just scan again and find all the records NOT in the database.

However, when I clicked on the 'update' button it started searching the whole list from scratch  . Is that really default behaviour? How can I force a scan update without it doing everything?

Sorry, think this is an old bug.

One more thing - would like to see an improvement in the search query, many of my movies are named: Name of the movie (year)
Hovever MP only search for the name and that excludes some mutch better matches (trie a search on imdb direct and se the improvement if you also add a year).

Indeed, this is an old bug. However, I have just taken the first step to doing something about it. In the next SVN, there will be an option to skip files already in database.

Please try it out and report any bugs with this new functionality to me.

The option can be found in the configuration application only, under Movies->Movie Database->Scan
