imon LCD & pad setup (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am just starting to setup Media portal on an XP Pro SP3 machine with a Silverstone GD01MX case - so it's got the Imon LCD & "pad" remote control.

IMedian & Imon work absolutely fine in the latest versions so I know that all the parts work so I've been comparing products (GBPVR, MediaPortal & Meedios - imedian is horrid) - MediaPortal will defintely be the choice if I can get everything working as its visual appearance is by far the most usable for an HTPC.

Ok - I've been looking around as to how to get the LCD & remote working and I've found numerous threads and two particularly large topics (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/support-119/updated-imon-soundgraph-lcd-driver-26713/index63.html & https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-165/ir-server-suite-version-1-0-4-1-a-33512/) which don't lead me to any final answers and don't seem to be consistent.

Can I please ask if anyone can tell me the latest and most effective way of installing the Imon LCD and pad controller.


I know I might be going over old ground but I'm getting completely lost in the posts I've been reading so thanks in advance.

I have the GD01-mx, too. The LCD does fine with this guide : CybrDisplay - External Display Driver package by CybrMage

The remote with this: http://iMON Remotes mapping for MediaPortal

But I had to do some further mapping of keys at the imon Manager.
