iMon / VFD display (1 Viewer)

My new media portal setup is finally all going well. But I have one issue that I'm not sure can be resolved. My case has an internal usb iMon VFD with remote.
Media portal can drive the VFD using the external display plugin/Soundgraph USB driver, but only when the iMon software is not running, but to close the iMon software means the remote wont work.
Does anyone know of a work around to keep the imon software running in the background for the remote, but have media portal drive the VFD ?

There is an option to put the iMon software into plug-in mode, this allows the external display plug-in to work and also the remote as well.

Which Version of the iMon-Software do you use? I use 4.51.0202.
If I enable "Programm Dritter benutzt iMon Treiber" the remote doesn`t work and the Display shows "Plug-In Mode".
