Incompatible with XP64 (1 Viewer)

I was wondering what the technical reason is that makes XP-64 incompatible with MediaPortal. It seems kind of weird that Vista64 is okay, but XP64 isn't.

Since I'm running a XP64 box, I have to develop under a VM running XP32 in order to test/run the app. That's inconvenient and a bit of a hassle.

So does anyone know the real reason(s) for the incompatibility?

XP64 miss a lot of DirectShow fixes and M$ won't provide them in any form.

They changed their mind for Vista x64 and the upcoming Win7 x64 so those OSes will have full patches list.
