Hallo,
I have installed this version of plugin some days ago. I have a small problem with movie duration signed by Moving picture on movies imported from Video DVD.
If I import a film from media file on HDD o from BD the duration is ok, but if I import a film from DVD VIdeo (videto.ts) the duration of the film i corrupt, it says 18 our anh 45 minutes of duration (or 19 ours and 25 minute).

Did you have any solution?

    @Sarevok81, check the following:

    Version of the 32-bit MediaInfo.DLL inside your MediaPortal root folder, as it in some cases might simply require a newer version to correctly read the header info.

    If you do not have proper generated headers, then you can use the following workaround:

    Moving-Pictures configuration setting on "About" -> "Advanced Setting" -> "MediaPortal GUI" -> "Interface Options" -> "Display the actual runtime of a movie" -> change it to "False" -> "Update"

    Hi :)

    Just like with BDs it is almost impossible to get correct main title out of the DVD and thus it is pretty hard to get always correct main movie length
    But with DVD's there is a change at least if you write some extra interpreter for the DVD navigation codes and try to guess the main title - with BDs there is no such possibility (you cannot even find out the main movie if you have Java and run those xlets... only the Java xlet that the disk has knows what is actually the main movie clip(s))

    Even with the rework added in movpic for BD (it's better than before but not 100% ok), it generate a list of runtime for all title and take the higher one but sometimes that not the good one lol.

    So you can use like RoChess explain :)
