I think I have MP setup and working. The problem I'm having is that all videos played through My Video are "squashed" into the center of the screen. It's about 40% of the screen centered with black bars of 30% each on the sides. Top to bottom is correct.

When I stop the video. MP retains a blank black overlay overtop of the MP UI. It looks like whatever is actually playing the video has some issues.

Videos are mostly Divx or XVID.

    Is this with ffdshow (recommended) installed, or are you using other codecs.

    Divx and Xvid are ok, but codec packs cause problems somewhere along the line.

    Do you have stretch, zoom or any other setting that may effect picture output.

    I installed ffdshow and then changed the view mode. One or the other fixed it!. Looking good now.
