Does not work, still the same problem.
regsvr32 is in error, I do it by hand.
launching configuration.exe is in error too.

Maybe it's just me.....but this seems like a lot of trouble to go through just to eliminate a bit of noise.

Honestly......how much noise can a laptop HD make? It's not like you'll have to crank you TV up louder to hear it over the drive.

Am I missing something here? What kind of laptop do you have? Is it older? What makes the HD so loud? Perhaps look for a new laptop HD which isn't as noisy?

The laptop itself is not old, but the HD is...

I have buy a new Hard Drive, now it's ok.
The only "noise" that still exist is just from the fan for the processor ( an Athlon 64 3000+ ), but it is really not a problem :D
