Had problems with RC5, decided to do a complete uninstall and reinstall, including MySQL. During installation however, I get
"MySQL set pasword error:1"
followed by
"Failed to install application [MySQL 5.1]"
The installation seems to stop, I have the MP and MP configuration icons on the desktop, but the TV server doesn't seem to have been installed. Screenshots and install log attached. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times, no difference.
I guess my system specs are on my profile, quick summary
XP Pro SP3
MSI Media Live Barebones-based system
Athlon 5050e 2.6GHz/2GB/500GB
Nvidia 6150LE integrated gfx
Compro Videomate S350 DVB-S card
previously happily running MP1.0.2 stable

Thanks, that fixed it. And the re-install seems to have sorted out the original problem I was having with the TV server, so I'm a happy chap now!
