You can install MP without TV at first and when your TV card arrives you can install the TV part (server and client) then. Running the Installer again should let you choose to add the TV part.

This is the part i would like to confirm i have been using Mp for a while now through all the updates and was hoping this could be cleared up before i do a clean install of the new release

    Thanks

I would install it all and not split it up. Just installed but not configured tv server installation wont cause you any problems anyway.

If this won't work with Deploy Tool you can install the TVServer seperatly by running package-tvengine.exe which you will find in C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Temp\MediaPortal Installation\deploy

AppData is a hidden folder, so you need to make all folder visible.

Thanks for the replies will do a full install and just not configure the tv server and hopefully that will solve any upgrade worries later on

    Thanks
