you could try back up the \program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal\plugins

and back up the files in \app data\team mediaporta\mediaportal\database and \thumbs\ if relevant

then copy them back accross post installation.

MP 1.1 RC1 does not support upgrading previous install of mediaportal, if that is a problem then stick with your previous version until MP 1.1 Final comes out (which will also not be upgradable but should be stable)
