Installation does not work (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.6.0

Description
I have downloaded the files. There one should download files from microsoft. That is very uncomfortable. One should download with a link the file sqlexpr64.exe, but after using the link, microsoft says there is no such file. I downloaded a 64mb file sqlexprdeu.exe.
One must download mediaplayer11? Why? On the system mediaplayer 12 is installed! If one uses the link, one gets the download for 32-bit-versin(?), but as text says, one should download 64 bit version.
Strange software if one must downloads as parts elsewhere und the links are wrong.

After starting the installation there is error message, very very long text, telling somehing like, that one must set somewhere "1" in the registry, but system will then be slowed. On the other hand installation says that Sql, directx, mediaplayer and others are installed, so they must not install.
WHATFOR DO I HAVE DOWNLOADED ALL THESE PROGS FROM MICROSOFT IF THEY ARE NOT NEEDED ????

Well after the error message I thought it would not work. And right, config prog crashed at once after start, main prog too.
Sorry, many time to get (download) prog, many time for useless downloads and result prog does not work. Well I was skeptical in the beginning. Many time for nothing.

My system: Win 7 prof 64bit, nvidia 630 graphiccard, 8 GB RAM, 3 HDDs, BlueRayPlayer from LG
no TV-Card, in installation choosen NO TV.

Steps to Reproduce:
How should one reproduce a prog which is installing failed and would not start?

Log is a good Idea but ...
Nice Idea, but watchdog says: the system was not configured, than crashed !!!!
Trying the third option in watchdog, result: no result, nothing happens, then watchdog crashed.

There is no need to answer my question anymore, because:

1. I uninstalled all and startet installation again, error LAV was not installed. I tried 3 times, always the same.

2. I phoned a good friend of mine. He is working as IT-Prof in a very big instituation. He told me that he tried this software not long ago.
He told me too, that it is IMPOSSIBLE to play Blueray-Discs. Therefore one had to install illegale software!! Software to crack the
Blueray. And then it does not play menues! So MediaPortal can play ONLY homemade BD without encryption.
So I can only use your prog to play music and DVD (if it might work in future sometime), but therefore I have software which is smaller,
quite easier to install and does not need codecs as LAV or something like that.
So I delete MediaPortal and use VLCportable again - also no BD, but simple install and Music, Video and DVD function best.

Bye to all
