installed but crashing on start (1 Viewer)

Ive installed everything from the system requirements wiki and it still will not boot. i tried installing media portal II for the heck of it and that actually works. any help would be greaty apperciated im really looking forward to running media portal

ive gone through all the media portal requirements and checked to make sure everything is there and still nothing

heres are my system specs
celleron 3ghz
1 gig of ram
gainward 5900fx ultra
on board sound:oops: (for the time being)
ive checked and its running directx 9c
ive installed .net 2 framework
i installed all the hotfix's on the wiki

    You have definately got some system errors showing.

    I take it you are running XP sp3 (you do not say).

    Try updating to the latest directx update

    Make sure as many of your drivers as you can are the latest version.
