Hello,
It seems the mediaportal installer is opening ports in Win7's firewall during setup, but only for the private network.
Since I have a domain network, I had to manually modify the firewall rules to have them applied to both private and domain networks.
I don't know if the installer should be amended to fix this, but I think that at least a small entry about that in the wiki would be good.
For info, my symptoms were that the tvservice was unreachable if the lan firewall on the tvserver was on, but fine otherwise.
Looking at its config, sorting items per name, I just went through all the Mediaportal entries and added the domain network to the created rules to get everything working as expected.
