Im having a really annoying problem wheras the tv will stutter, every 2 or so minutes, Everytime!.

For example im watchin channel 4, the singal quality is good and everything is fine then the tv will stutter for about 3 seconds then resume to normal again for another 2 minutes, this proccess repeats itself constantly while watching tv, This happens while watching on either tv card aswell.

here comes the interesting part.

If i enable ts reader instead of stuttering I get MPEG Artifacts like there is something that is interefering with the tv signal at the same 2 minute intervals,
I can confirm that its not interference becuase the cards work perfectly in other software apart from MP.

Has anybody got anyidea why this is happening?

Thanks very much for all your help.

Alex

Check CPU usage on client as well as on the server.
    report back with full logs.

Disable antivirus or anything else that may be doing a quick file read, like auto defrag set up.

Set MP priority to HIGH in config.

There is no antivirus running on the server, and disk indexing is turned off in windows xp.

Sorry i forgot to attach the logs before, they should be attached with this post.

I forgot to mention that i am running multi seat with the server running on a different computer to the client.

The priority is already set to high on the server.

Thanks very much for all your help

Did u try and disable ALL plugins serverside ?

U could also try and down MPTV client + vlcplayer.
    this is recommended for troubleshooting.

U can find it on the mainpage under downloads.

If the stream is ok in vlc, then u probably have a demuxer/directshow codec problem.
