Interference from Samsung remote (1 Viewer)

Hi guys.

I'm using my Hauppage 45 button remote to control MP.
The IR blaster is connected into my hauppage nova-t pci 9xx dvb-t card, with latest drivers.
Its working really well and all the buttons are mapped correctly in Mp etc etc

However when I use the remote for my Samsung LE40A686TV - it does all strange sorts of things in mediaportal !!
So basically the Tv remote keypresses are being picked up my MP, which is a real pain.

Is there any way I can stop this happening ??

For note
1)the Hauppage IR software (the little black icon near the clock) is always running)
2) The Hauppage remote doesn't control of affect the Samsung TV
