Hi, Iam now using the Dscaler 5 mpeg 2 codec with a widescreen crt tv, ati x1300 with vga to scart with powerstrip. tv settings - deinterlace set to none. dscaler deinterlace mode set to force weave. ati control panel also set to force weave. mp seems to have a hard time outputing a correctly interlaced picture. it looks like its outputting the fields in the wrong order most of the time, this changes sometimes deciding to output it correctly. if i change settings to bob i get bad ghosting. dscaler is such good quality it would be great to get it working correctly. I have tried loads of different settings... any suggestions pleasewould be great?
