The problem was solved by adding a proxy server I found online. All I have to do is setup my IE7 to use a proxy server I found oinline - this is very weird because I do have direct connection and both my IE and FireFox work fine without any proxy settings. It seems that on Vista MediaPortal insist on using proxy server to connect to internet (I don't have this problem on XP Pro). I am not sure whether this is MediaPortal bug or Vista bug?
