invalid or missing file (1 Viewer)

I have installed a client that is running xp sp2. I have installed MediaPortal and the TV Server plugin. According to the installation instructions everything should be fine, i should just select what TV-server to use in the client. When I start this the "My TV" only appears under plug-ins. When I start it a message "invalid or missing file" appears. I don't know where to start...

I have also run the configuration tool and set the preferences.

My TV-Server that is also acting as client works ok (sw crashing far to often though). I have set the firewall settings according to instructions.

I had this problem too, when upgraded mediaportal to SVN version of 4-1-2008 it was solved.

Hi,
This it's a common problem when not updating both MP 0.2.3.0 + SVN & TVE3/TVPlugin to same revision number..

If this isn't the cause apply your system specifications & attach your logs to you post.

My versions where different. I reinstalled all of them and now it's working.
