I would like to build a small ip-radio/mp3 client.
Which OS/Software would you recommend?
The hardware: Amd K7 550Mhz, 256 Ram, Vga on board
The player should be able to get online-radio streams and also play mp3 from internal HDD, it should be possible to control it via remote controller.
I think MP is too "big" for this? I´ve got MP running on my HTPC already.
Maybe an Unix distribution? Or smth. else?
