Hi, currently have a Hauppauge hvr-1300 with ir blaster support working out fine with Media Portal (except for the fact that the PC cannot start from the remote). Looking for a better htpc case I've found several pretty good cases that includes a vfd + ir port integrated and sometimes a imon remote.
What I haven't found yet is a solution that while having an ir port (receiver) internal to the case has IR blaster support. For me it is not important that this is included on the case or not (could be a component thtat could be purchased separately).
The most near solution I have found is a type of cases that includes a rack to mount the MCE IR (which is not bad at all).
I am wondering if there is anybody out there using imon remote (for instance) plus an extra solution for ir blaster. Is it possible to use the imon remote (or other similar) and use the ir blaster from the hauppauge card? Does anybody try it?
