IR Server Suite - how do I control MP with it? (1 Viewer)

IR Server Suite works, I can change channels with the test button, but I can't control my STB while in MediaPortal (through the guide etc). This is my first time using this so I'm not even sure if it's possible.

I did try the MCE replacement plugin (1.41 and 1.42 prev 3) but it wouldn't learn my remote.

ok, you need to install the TV2 blaster plugin (assuming you aren't using TV Server?)

Then make sure the stb channels are set up as external channels.

Then configure the TV2 blaster and test it, from then on whenever you change to an external channel the tv2 blaster plugin should cause the channel commands to blast.

OK, now the TV Blaster plugin works but when I change a channel through MP it changes the STB channel and the channel my TV tuner is listening on. Basically I have to keep the tuner on channel 3 and then change the channel on the STB, is there a way to do this?

Edit: Ahh nvm, setting the channel to digital worked, thanks for your help.
