IR server suite-Unhandled exception error (1 Viewer)

I am brand new to IR server suite and I am trying to use it with GBPVR because I have a HVR-1800 which olny works with GBPVR. I couldn't get HIP to work for me so I figured I would try this. I installed IR server suite 1.0.4.1 and follow the guide on GBPVR site to control my dish box. I have a MCE remote with the ehome driver and the registry fix. Things were not working so I tried the IR server suite 1.0.4.2. At one time I the program to learn the codes and blast them correctly. I then went to use it the next day and it would not work at all. I then tried the latest release and the input service configuration errors out and the translator errors out.

I get some kind of unhandled exception error and the translator will not even start. Some help would be greatly appreciated. I am not sure what info or logs you need to assess the problem. Please let me know.

Hey there,

When you say you got 1.0.4.2 did you get the Preview 5?

There was a very briefly available Preview 4 that had a couple of critical bugs, you didn't end up with that one did you?

If you go to your start menu, IR Server Suite, Logs and zip up the log files there I would be very interested in taking a look at them.

If any errors pop up in a message box on screen then a screenshot would be good too.

I don't know what the problem your having is caused by, but I will give it everything I've got to get it working properly for you.

I think I got version 1.0.4.2 Preview 4. That's what was available at the time. I will try the newer version when I get home later tonight. If I have problems then I will attach my logs. Thanks for the willingness to help.

Ok, so I tried the latest update (Preview 5) and the blasting starting working again but the input config still errors out and I am getting the stuck button action when I push a button.

Attached are the logs and error print screens.

I double checked the registry and the control numset for the first remote entry is correct but there are other entries. Do I need to delete them as well for things to work right?
