IRserver; navigation keys not working (1 Viewer)

I have IRserver (almost) working on RC3. That is to say al keys work, including some re-mapped to blast to the amplifier (volume up, volume down and mute), but the navigation keys (up, down, left, right and ok) don't work.

First everything worked except volume up, volume down and mute, but including the navigation keys. Turned out that did not have the register editing done on the eHome driver. The IRserver plugin wasn't working at all. Fixed that.

Then the re-mapped volume keys worked but nothing else. That was because I still had the MCE remote enabled in the MP setup. Fixed that.

And now the navigation keys don't work ... The plugin doesn't 'see' the key presses. I know that because if I map another key (red) to navigate it works and if I map a navigation key to blast it doesn't.

Anybody any suggestions?


I think this is the last thing I need to fix to able to move from 0.2.2.0 to 1 RC3.

I had to remove the 'Microsoft MCE' remote and then add the 'Microsoft MCE (Full)' remote.

In the configuration of the MP plugin part of the IRserver suite, to remove the 'Microsoft MCE' remote I pressed the 'clear all' button. This does nothing to the mappings as the pop-up help mentions, it removes all selected remotes. Then with the dropdown box I selected 'Microsoft MCE (Full)' and the add remote button. After this change the button mappings under the 'map' tab are stil intact. And everything works.

I had noticed that with the 'Microsoft MCE' remote there is no code shown for the navigation buttons, for the 'Microsoft MCE (Full)' remote the codes are there (for 'Up' f.i. 31713). Don't ask what the 'Microsoft MCE' remote, without the navigation buttons working, is for or why that is the default remote for the plugin


Unfortunately now the TV guide is broken again, it worked last week. So I'm still not ready to move to RC3 ...
