[QUOTE="halljb, post: 787784, member: 115496"] I installed IRSS Test Build 1.4.2.4068 and am having trouble with the MCE blaster. Basically, IRSS thinks it's working, but the blaster doesn't do anything. If I select to learn a command, the learn always times out. If I select to blast one of my previous IR files, or one of the included files, it says the blast was successful, but nothing was blasted. I've used a previous version of IRSS on a different machine with the same blaster before and it worked fine, however on this computer, I'm having issues. I'm running it on a Thinkpad T60 with Windows 7 32bit. I've tried plugging the blaster into each different USB port without any change. When I open the configuration screen, I notice that I get a missing DLL notice in the log (there is another thread with a similar issue). Here is the log snippet: 2011-09-14 00:20:01.455576 [Info.][1]: Log Opened 2011-09-14 00:20:01.456576 [Info.][1]: IR Server Configuration, Version=1.4.2.20381, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null 2011-09-14 00:20:01.461576 [Info.][1]: Loading settings ... 2011-09-14 00:20:01.616585 [Error][1]: Technotrend: exception Unable to load DLL 'ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E) 2011-09-14 00:20:02.714648 [Warn.][1]: Hauppauge: IrRemote.dll not found 2011-09-14 00:20:02.741650 [Warn.][1]: Custom HID: not available on "service" installation mode 2011-09-14 00:20:02.751650 [Info.][1]: Creating configuration grid ... 2011-09-14 00:21:18.058957 [Info.][1]: Log Closed The ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll file is nowhere on my system. So I dug up a version from a different piece of software and placed it in the IRSS folder. Now when I start up, I don't get that error, but learns still timeout and nothing happens when I blast. IRSS thinks everything is fine. Here is a log from trying to learn and blasting one of the included IR files. During this try, the learn timed out and the blast did nothing. None of the blaster lights flickered at all. 2011-09-14 00:11:35.590642 - Start() 2011-09-14 00:11:35.590642 - Device Guid: 7951772d-cd50-49b7-b103-2baac494fc57 2011-09-14 00:11:35.590642 - Device Path: \\?\root#system#0001#{7951772d-cd50-49b7-b103-2baac494fc57}\port1 2011-09-14 00:11:35.590642 - Operating system arch is x86 2011-09-14 00:11:35.592642 - OpenDevice() 2011-09-14 00:11:35.693648 - InitializeDevice() 2011-09-14 00:11:35.708649 - Device Capabilities: 2011-09-14 00:11:35.708649 - NumTxPorts: 3 2011-09-14 00:11:35.708649 - NumRxPorts: 2 2011-09-14 00:11:35.708649 - LearnPortMask: 2 2011-09-14 00:11:35.709649 - ReceivePort: 0 2011-09-14 00:11:35.709649 - LearnPort: 1 2011-09-14 00:11:35.709649 - DetailsFlags: 8 2011-09-14 00:11:35.717649 - TxPortMask: 0 2011-09-14 00:11:35.719650 - StartReadThread(Receiving) 2011-09-14 00:11:49.447435 - Learn() 2011-09-14 00:11:59.649018 - End Learn Send(): +8993, -4391, +657, -447, +657, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -1604, +657, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -552, +604, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -41941, +8940, -2261, +604, -74995, 2011-09-14 00:12:52.287029 - DataPacket() 2011-09-14 00:12:52.290029 - TransmitIR(288 bytes, carrier: 38028, port: 0) Send(): +8993, -4391, +657, -447, +657, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -1604, +657, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -552, +604, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -41941, +8940, -2261, +604, -74995, 2011-09-14 00:12:59.302430 - DataPacket() 2011-09-14 00:12:59.302430 - TransmitIR(288 bytes, carrier: 38028, port: 0) Send(): +8993, -4391, +657, -447, +657, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -1604, +657, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -552, +604, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -41941, +8940, -2261, +604, -74995, 2011-09-14 00:13:02.984641 - DataPacket() 2011-09-14 00:13:02.984641 - TransmitIR(288 bytes, carrier: 38028, port: 0) Send(): +8993, -4391, +657, -447, +657, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -1604, +657, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -552, +604, -499, +604, -499, +604, -1656, +604, -1656, +604, -499, +604, -499, +657, -1604, +604, -1656, +604, -41941, +8940, -2261, +604, -74995, 2011-09-14 00:13:09.625021 - DataPacket() 2011-09-14 00:13:09.625021 - TransmitIR(288 bytes, carrier: 38028, port: 0) 2011-09-14 00:16:37.668920 - Learn() 2011-09-14 00:16:47.969509 - End Learn Send(): +9019, -4522, +604, -1682, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -1682, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -604, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -604, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -1682, +604, -38970, +9019, -2287, +604, -4522, 2011-09-14 00:18:59.770048 - DataPacket() 2011-09-14 00:18:59.770048 - TransmitIR(288 bytes, carrier: 38028, port: 0) Any ideas?
