I am having problems with IRSS and my system. I'm running mp 1.2.3 and I installed IRSS on my system.I also have a hauppauge 45 button remote.
When I set IRSS to use hauppage the remote stops working in Media Portal. If I remove the checkmark for the hauppauge remote then the remote works again in Media Portal.
I am also unable in translator to train my remote.

I am not able to test the hauppauge remote, because I have none, but do you disable the hauppauge remote in MP settings before enabling it in IRSS?
Could you attach your IRSS and MP logs, please?
IRSS is missing developers, to maintain and improve the existing remote plugins, I can not promise anything, sorry.

Thanks for the reply, Sorry it took so long to respond myself.
Taking your suggestion I shut down MP remote settings and then tried IRSS and I still get the same problem.
I've attached my IRSS and MP logs hoping that you will see something that I'm missing.

Hi rlongfield,
Can try to disable all plugin you don't use in IRSS COnfig ? as "Custom HID", "Direct Input" & "X10"
Only " Hauppauge" and " Windows MEssage" are enabled !
try with this, you are setting IRSS in Service Mode , if not work try APP mode ! For example Imon is in App Mode.

Hi,

could you take a look inside the irss log files if you find some problem with the hauppauge plugin? On my system the needed *.dll file for hauppauge remotes is missing and this will be written into the logfile at irss startup...

Default path to the log-files: "C:\ProgrammData\Ir Server Suite\logs\"
