I'm trying to get the IR Server Suite plugin working to use my STB in combination with mediaportal.
I have a MCE eHome transceiver which is built-in in my scaleo E. I'd like to use the blast ports to control my STB.
However, I'm stuck with learning the remote and could use some help.
- When I use the debug client, bot the MCE remote and the TV remote are recognized, but the STB remote isn't.
- When I try to learn a new button ( MP TV server configuration // Plugins // TV3 Blaster Plugin for IR Server // IR Commands // new // Learn ) none of my remotes is recognized; it keeps timing out.
So I've 2 questions:
- Does anyone know why I can't learn a new button in the config while it does work in the debug tool?
- Since the STB remote isn't even recognized automatically in the debugclient, is there any way to create the right codes for the .IR files from the raw timings of the remote? I have a timing diagram of the STB remote so maybe there is a way to make ik work this way...
Btw, the STB I have is a Samsung DCB-B270R.
