I had 1.0.4.1 working perfectly with VMC compatible Pinnacle IR receiver / remote. Then I had to reinstall Vista as SP1 update went south and after reinstalling, I lost IRSS. I tried the same version and then 1.4.2 RC1, but the same problem. Translator doesn't receive any command when I try to make it learn.
Microsoft MCE is automatically selected in Input Service Configuration and the input service is running. The remote & receiver work otherwise as I can use the arrow keys to scroll up/down the browser, just that when I try to learn a command in Translator, it always times out. Did I miss something obvious? Remote control input is enabled and WMC services are disabled. Thanks for any comment / suggestions.
