Again just wild idea. Background: Disney channel is sometimes giute tricky.
Sometimes it only works with MPV filter, and sometimes with cyberlink 8 filter.
For kids this is problematic, when i'm not at home.

I was just wondering that if there was a tickbox in settings to allow MP to try
another filter if first one fails, with correct merrit value of course, or an list for
3 most favoritable filters. It might increase channell zap time, but that is
acceptable if sound and image apperas after all. Same for SD & HD & Audio.
If hr value returns fail when composing graphbuilder, then try another filer
combination...

Sounds like a hack to me

It would be better to figure out why the connection cannot be created in the first place. Probably a bug in the TsReader / video output pin.

Could you provide a .ts recording that fails to connect the filter?
