these days i am testing the myfilms plugin and i like it very much. I got
it working with ANT Movie Catalog and even the starting of some .ts files
works fine.
For most of my HD-DVDs and Bluray discs the information "please insert
Disc #xxx " is enough. But i have some HD-DVDs and Bluray discs on HDD
and would like to start them from myfilms. The problem is that i need
PowerDVD to use the full menu structure so i can choose the language etc.
To start a Bluray or HD-DVD from harddrive you have to point PowerDVD
to the folder with all files then the complete structure is loaded.
For HD-DVD :
i think for HD-DVD i could also load only the VPLST000.XPL file, because if
i start this file with PowerDVD i get also the complete structure. I inserted
this file as movie file but myfilms doesn't start PowerDVD, if i put in the
DISCID.DAT file it will start PowerDVD but with this file i don't get the full
structure and the video is streched. So i would need myfilms to start the
.xpl file.
Does myfilms have a list of endings which it can handle and could there
the .xpl files be integrated ?
For Bluray :
with Bluray i have the problem that until now i didn't find a single file which
offers the complete structure. The only file is the biggest .evo which can
start the movie directly but only in english.
Is there a single file for complete structure use and can this fileformat be
integrated in myfilms or would it be possible to send PowerDVD the complete
Bluray folder to open it and play it ?
For suggestions or informations i would be very thankful
