Is it possible with the built-in MCE Remote support in MediaPortal 1.0 to map a button on an MCE Remote (e.g. Teletext button) to start a program or to execute a hotkey sequence?

I know this is possible with the MCE Replacement plugin but I cannot get the plugin to worked properly on my system.
