Message: <blockquote data-quote="LXB" data-source="post: 54225" data-attributes="member: 14626">had a strange feeling too, but after a complete re-install.....iÂ´ve got the best mediacenter i ever had!!!let me explain: iÂ´m using mp since 0.1.3, trying to test the most builds because iÂ´m a little kind of freak (if you ask my girlfriend, at least ;-)). my personal goal is to be independent from monopolists, as far as i can.after the introduction of the 0.2Â´s, many problems seemed to arrive at mp and the functionality and i also have had some days, when i thought that there are more troubles than bugfixing adn i should use mce for example. at the end, mp wasnÂ´t able to open tv without hanging, nor playing videos or audio files. i tried mce, and: nothing at all, mce didnÂ´t even find my tv cards and restarted the pc...so i decided to go the hard way and reinstall the whole thing. after a weekend iÂ´m happy now with my 0.2 RC4 and some of the latest builds.mp is starting and working nearly perfectly, the epg configuraiton is very good now only a handful of little problems but: mp is definately not in final release state!!! so if iÂ´m having a look at some sw producers that are selling products for money and the released versions they sell i just have to say:thank you all guys for your private time spent to develop such a great thing for us all!mp resp. itÂ´s devs cannot be responsible for the underlying operating system or driver problems with it. so if some1 of us is taking part of testing (and more cannot be done in a non release state i think) we should do what testers have to: giving positive and constructive feedback to achieve the goal, having the best media center and that with open source!cheers and another thanx, LX.</blockquote>
